Chrome 9 最主要的賣點之一，就是 3D Web GL 這個網頁中 3D 物件的硬體加速支援，再來則是跟 Google Instant 搜尋有異曲同工之妙的 Chrome Instant，也就是在使用者鍵入網址的過程中，下方的網頁內容就會開始預先載入（若為瀏覽過的網頁，則會更快一點），不過實際使用並不一定有那麼快，小編也總是不自覺的敲一下 Enter…最後一項，則是 Chrome Web Store 的進一步支援，除了可以上 Web Store 連接一票有趣的網路應用外，安裝後也會將捷徑自動加到分頁中的應用程式列，新開分頁則會顯示這票捷徑以及 Chrome Web Store 的連結，使用者也可以隨需要來編輯。
